I am Evan, a.k.a The LumberJack. I chose this name because it is the name of my hobby company. I make and sell fishing lures, and use them myself when I venture the outdoors. The name LumberJack Tackle is because I work as a logger for my father's family business.

I'm known for always bringing some of my favorite tea...Earl Grey. I was once a very bearded man (though my current job won't allow it), and I was rather grizzly, so my "trail name" developed to Earl Grizzle. Given to me by a group of teens I was the youth leader of.

I've used Sweeper for a long time

I was a Combat Engineer in the Army and swept for land mines

Most of the time I hiked solo, I would start early in the morning and be the one who had to sweep the night's cobwebs out of the trail

Hiking and canoeing in a group I usually end up in the Sweeper position, pushing from the rear.
