Mine is the nickname I have been using for years in different places, including as a Space Camp Counselor in the early 2000's. I got it from Doonesbury cartoon It went something like this: someone asked an invisible character, "Aren't you President Bush?" and the reply was, "No, I'm his evil twin brother, Skippy!" Loved it, used it.
I have : in front of it because someone already had Skippy.
I lag behind on hikes and my initials are L.A.G. Why not embrace my slow hiking and soon to be hammock hanging with laghang?
Two random words I started using long ago.
Daddy because I'm a father. Dread Pyrat because Princess Bride. I spelled "pirate" that particular way because it's my favorite rum.
Email address I got when aol Frist came out it its kind of cool and my name is Jason Its my geocacheing name and still my e-mail and my trail name

I was given this name by a friend of mine because I am basically technologically challenged.
Throughout my life I have always been honest and forthright, across a long military career and in corporate/govt consulting. It has made the difference in my fortunate life. In a recent personnel review, my wimpy "boss" told me I come across as "prickly" to other employees. I responded (honestly) that they are all self-indulgent salesmen/pr*cks and that none of them deserves my respect or courtesy. As he was talking (about me) I got the image of Yosemite Sam in my head, just like that! The cactus part followed naturally. Thus, Cactus Frank. My lifelong camping buddies all approve...
I'm PiknChikn. Bluegrass, "banjo music", or "Chicken Picken" has always been a love of mine. It was dubbed chicken picking since one uses their thumb, index and middle fingers to play the banjo. So, since I love doin' some Chicken Pickin', I am PiknChikn. Makes me laugh, anyway!
Shaggy - my nickname when I was a sailmaker + my name of Matt. Simple enough.
