I absolutely love love love my LeighLo underquilt. I got it around the beginning of December but couldn't set it up until last weekend. Even in the dark setting this thing up for the first time was a breeze. Great craftswomanship.

Got my underquilt from Leigh today Couldn't believe how small it compresses in its stuff sack. I immediately set up out back and got to dial it in.
After giving it some time to loft up I climbed in and snuggled up. Temps were in mid forties. Just cool enough to find any problems with adjustment, but warm enough to not be shivering while figuring out how to fix it. Sure warmed up quick
Still have some learning to get maximum benefit, but as everyone says, it is an easy quilt to adjust.
Now time for her to sew me up a TQ. Thanks Leigh Great work!

    EZ-E,

I got lucky and my wife got me one of Leigh's UQ's for Christmas. It is going to significantly change my set-up and enjoyment I can already tell. No more fiddling with pads and dealing with their bulk!

Hope that we can get some kind of KY hang organized this spring.

Got to give my underquilt a tryout this afternoon. 26* with 15 mph wind and gusts up to 30 mph with snow. Set up at noon, slept till 3. Cozy, even with a 14 year old sleeping bag that is rated to 32* but probably only a true 40* bag for a top quilt.

Only problem I can see is that once you're snuggled in and all toasty, you never want to get out! Didn't realize how cold it really was till I started breaking everything down. Only had on blue jeans, calf high socks, long sleeved t-shirt, fleece jacket, cotton balaclava, tobbaggan and gloves. I was cold in that wind

This underquilt is one nice piece of gear. Ordering up TQ right away!!!

Smashnd, glad to here from ya. Still sad I didn't get to go kayaking with you.
Glad to hear you got a LeighLo quilt also. Ya'll love it Keep in touch about Spring hang. I may try to go to the Mid Tn Winter hang in February.
