Anyone here ever hang at the Wanee Music Festival in Live Oak Florida? A buddy of mine and I are tossing the idea around about going this year, but it looks like the place can get packed. What's the skinny on site location, etc?

Anyone here ever hang at the Wanee Music Festival in Live Oak Florida? A buddy of mine and I are tossing the idea around about going this year, but it looks like the place can get packed. What's the skinny on site location, etc?

I have never been to that fest (looks like an awesome lineup this year), but I have been to other smaller fests (Magfest and Springfest) at park, but this was about 10 years ago. Then, the camping area was down a dirt road a short walk from the music area, probably the same now given the layout of the park. The camping area had lots of trees for hanging, but was not organized, basically you pull your car off the road and set up camp in what ever open area is available. One year, my wife and I were squeezed in between some other campers right next to the road. Plan on getting to know your neighbors Given the size of Wanee, I assume the camping is a little more organized, but it is probably crowded.

Never been, but it might be worth an e-mail to the organizers. I'm sure someone over there has an idea of what conditions are like.
