    DIY Pillow Case

    Hey all! Been a while since I posted here. Anyhow, there has been a thread over on whiteblaze.net regarding pillow options for backpacking. Inspired by the thread, I went ahead and made myself my own little set up. It's simply a 14"x8" fleece pillow case. I sewed some velcro on the opening to allow me to seal it shut. Overall, a very easy little project that could yield a nice reward - comfy sleep!

    All you need is some fleece and velcro and you are good to go!

    Interesting idea. when I packed a lot, I just stuffed my jacket into one arm as a pillow. today, I have a small climashield pillow, but just a pillowcase stuffed with an extra (non-funky) shirt is an interesting thought...

    I just got one of those JRB inflatable pillows for a couple of bucks...may be a perfect thing to insert into ur pillow case...weighs nothing and literally costs nothing. Check it out here;

    Another approach is to sew a piece of fleece inside a stuff sack. turn the sack inside out when using as a pillow. I use mine to hold fleece and some spare clothes.
