I bought tarp doors for my Edge tarp for those times the wind blows in the ends of the tarp set-up and chills me. Usually it's just my back that gets cold (40* F HG UQ) at temps between 40--47 F (4-8 C) when it's windy.

Do you think a breathable UQ Protector would provide enough windblockage to permit me to dispense with the heavy doors?
I don't always take my tarp with doors but I always take my UQP.
I just never know what mother nature will throw at me.
If you have a single layer hammock it's no more weight than double layer hammock guys carry and far more functional.

Thanks for the input, OutandBack and 2Questions! Much appreciated.

I think I'm sold on getting a UQ. I'll just have to experiment with and without doors after that. Maybe go down to just one door on one side.
