From Emails from PapaSmurf last night I can offer that mine is "in process" and was slated for possible top cover / bugnet attachment today. Don't have any first hand knowledge of where anyone else is at though.

Well...according to PapaSmurf, I'm "next"!
That reminds me of being a shortimer in Viet Nam. Guys would joke about how short they were....meaning they had a short time before they could leave Nam. One of my favorites was...."I'm so short I can sit on a dime and dangle my legs."
But the quintessential response to the question...."How short are you?" was....."I'm Next!" No one could ever be shorter than that.
Now I'm really excited!

Mine shipped today. I'll get a review and pics up next week!

Yippee (and aboooo). Mine landed on my doorstep today....only to be taken away by the postman. He knocked at the front whilst I was out the back having a swim. 9.30 tomorrow ill be banging down the post office door :-) can't wait. Massive thankyou to papa smurf. The bird has landed in Oz
I have just been summoned by the DangerBird with this in an e-mail from PappaSmurf 'Your DangerBird is next up'......
I picked mine up this morning. Did a preliminary hang in the house and I must say what amazing workmanship...not a thread out of place, the zippers run flawlessly. Can't sing papa smurfs praises enough. Mine is coyote body with evergreen peak hoods and cover and orange zip pulls and pull outs. Looks amazing.
I've had an adventuring tarp made by terrarosagear in coyote silnylon with cuben reinforcements to match (Ive also got another of his tarps- the prospecting tarp in red which I love).
Can't wait to take this out in the bush for its first real hang. Ill be sure to post pics :-) Whilst Id love to join a dangerbird group hang Id have a long way to fly....unless you fancy coming to sunny queensland :-)
I wouldnt mind coming to Queensland...just plan it a year ahead of time. In fact why not plan the first HF international group hang.....ooops, I just remembered my greatest fear...the sibilant ones as in 'Sayyyyyyyy man cub.......'
Mine was supposed to show today, but no joy. May just have to show up at the old post office manana.

Well here's some pics of my ozzie bird....in our national colours green and gold (well coyote but it looks green and gold ;-)) You'll have to excuse the strange lawn patterns. We had some turf laid today.
