Ok I have seen some pictures of these "pole" mods to tarps and I think I want to try this with my Henny Hex. I have see some with poles inside and some with poles on the outside. So I'm thinking I would prefer to do the one on the out side just because I could use the pull-outs where the pole will go incase I lose or break a pole.
Anyone done a How-to on this mod?

Yeah Desiel, if you have any questions many here do the pole mod. I think I've modded 6 tarps for pole use, waiting on a pole now and waiting on yet another tarp that is supposed to come with pole. It really is something to think about; for me because I had all the extra lines and the real estate for side pullouts.
But my future in hamockdom is no tarp at all. No spaghetti lines knotted up in the sack.
Yeah, everytime I go to sleep in 'bunker' mode and wake to beautiful weather, I think, ' Dang, that MedicineMan is one smart dude! ' . I then roust myself out of my comfy hammock, crawl out from beneath the bunker and enjoy the weather and the view. I have to get a tarp for the DD Frontline I have coming. Maybe someday I will get round to it cause that setup is slick as goose grease!
