Ive never seen a clark up close, but was just wondering-how are the pockets attached to the hammock? Are they sewn thru the hammock body? Also, is there a separate pocket for a pad? Just wondering!

FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.

yes they are sewn through. Its pretty much a piece of ripstop sewn to the bottom of the hammock and then sewn down the center length wise and then twice with wise to get the 6 pockets.
I love those pockets. Your gear is close by and easy to get to. The Clark hammocks rock!!!!!

There is no "pad pocket" on any of the CJH hammock models.

Thanks for the info! I'm surprised you could sew thru the hammock body with out causing structual problems, but it obviously works!
