    question about the pockets

Ive never seen a clark up close, but was just wondering-how are the pockets attached to the hammock? Are they sewn thru the hammock body? Also, is there a separate pocket for a pad? Just wondering!
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )

yes they are sewn through. Its pretty much a piece of ripstop sewn to the bottom of the hammock and then sewn down the center length wise and then twice with wise to get the 6 pockets.

There is no "pad pocket" on any of the CJH hammock models.

Thanks for the info! I'm surprised you could sew thru the hammock body with out causing structual problems, but it obviously works!

They use a different, thicker material for the hammock body. I could see it as an issue if they used regular ripstop, but not with their tough bodies.

Right. The pockets are of the same light, breathable nylon fabric (1.1 - 1.3 oz?) as the hoods and weathershield (and most quilts here?). And, as Dudorino notes, the hammock bed is something different, less compliant, I think, than 1.9oz nylon.
