Dale Gribble: I'm thinking, "new hammock." For me, laying and swaying in a hammock is like a steady morphine drip without the risk of renal failure.

Randy : yea but just remember yer roots and where ya come from....you got Hennessy in yer blood son......

    If you look here:
    http://hennessyhammock.com/catalog/#hammock
You will notice they currently have NEW in bold red letters for that model.
It is basically a Safari Deluxe Asym Zip with a double-layer bottom (like the Deep Jungle Asym Zip), making it the biggest and heaviest that Hennessy has ever done...thus far.

My eyes do have the ability to see the color red so I saw new....The question I wanted a response to was if anyone else had seen it yet

59 views and no Hennessy people were excited for the new hammock?

Eh, I'm happy with using my underquilts. I also have the hhss, so a double layer HH doesn't get me going. Maybe if I was looking for my first Hennesey I would ponder it but I imagine it is pretty expensive. Sorry, but I didn't follow the link yet.

Haha I gotcha, I have a super shelter as well and have had some success with it. And remember you can buy these hammocks by themselves without the tarp and they are much cheaper. You can get a safari deluxe for 170 dollars without the tarp. But I just wondered if it would interest anyone, I appreciate the response man!

I love my HHDJ, but at 3 lbs 2 oz its too heavy for me to take along on most trips.

This new one is 4 lbs 4 oz.

I've known about this one for almost a year. It was supposed to be released last fall. I had a friend that was interested, but he ended up with a Thunderbird and Darien from Dreamhammocks while waiting.
