Splicing and burying in hollow braid cordage

I hope this can stay in the general forum.

Ok so I like to never figured out how to do this and still wouldn't say I'm great at it but this is for anyone that maybe wants to try this but don't know where to start.

I am using Lash-it 1.75 mm which I heard was about the hardest stuff to do this with after I had already bought a roll

Here is a eye loop with the end buried back into it's self, the splice like a whoopie, and I pulled the tapered end from making the whoopie splice back through it's self.

Ok so for this small cordage I like to of never figured out how to pull the cord through it's self but SlowBro finally put it in terms that I could understand.

Use fine gauge stiff wire bent in half and start at the OUT point, slip the bent end of the wire down the middle and exit the IN point. Place the free end you want to bury in the bend of the wire and pull the wire back out which will bury the free end nice and neat.

Good job. Lash it isn't too bad if you have a small enough wire. I use phone/Cat5 wire with the insulation stripped off.

Why is it that the red 1.75 is much harder to do than the yellow 1.75. It took me twice as long to make continuous loops with the red vs the yellow. Seems like the braid is much tighter. Someone else told me they experienced the same thing. I can't speak for other colors since those are the only two I have tried.
We are now ready to start our way down the Great Unknown. We are three quarters of a mile in the depth of the earth. We have an unknown distance yet to run, an unknow river yet to explore. What falls there are, we know not; what rocks beset the channel, we know not; what walls rise over the river, we know not. Ah, well! We may conjecture many things. The men talk as cheerfully as ever; jests are bandied about freely this morning; but to me the cheer is somber and the jests are ghastly. Powell 1869
