I know. I grew up in SW VA near Pennington and just love this area. One of the prettyiest I've ever lived. I like how I can go on some great hikes and camping and only drive 30 mins or less

I am an Erwin native now residing in PA and envy all the great spots you have for outdoor fun. You can always open a thread and put out an open call for hangers in your area. I have seen several Roan Mountain trips listed here. *I just went over to the "Trip Planning" section of the forum and yes there is a Roan Mountain & Linville Gorge hangs listed.
