    i think it's a great idea ... i like them they came out really good
    It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold

    From what I understand, it's actually better to use Tyvek tape for hems/ seams/ attachment points. I didn't have any, but I have a sewing machine and thread, so that's what I used.

    I picked up some of the #0 S-Biners today at Gander Mountain. Suprisingly, they're easier to find than mitten hooks, and possibly a little easier to work with in windy conditions.

    I haven't quite decided which way I want to go with the tie-outs that go on the outside of the tarp. I'm leaning towards a 7 foot length of shock cord on each side, connecting the two ends together, rather than an individual piece of cord for each door. It'll keep the weight/ bulk down a little. I'll try out a few different ways, and report back how they work out.

    I'll take some pics of them fully pitched this weekend at the Ohio Hang...after I get my signatures on them, of course .

    I forgot about getting the hammock suspension through, good catch. It would need either a large approximated hole, or a split up top that would fold back over. I will think on it some more. And maybe sleep on it, in my windswept hammock

    Now that i have found a source of tyvek i need to get working on a set of these.
    Nice job by the way. It seems the more i read the more work o make for myself.
