Hello from Sweden, im new to the whole hammocking thing and were searching for ultra light camping gear when i stumbled into this forum.

Im an old tent camper and planing to change that sins my tents just keeps on costing me to much time and weight.
(also the random hammocks i ben casualy summer time naping in seems like a good substitute from the hard ground)

Im new to hammocking and planing a 2 month "hike" this summer.
Going to do alot of DIY gear (acualy every part of the hammock settup)
And this forum has this far given me ALOT of help on the way

planing to leave from stockholm and work my way north and after about 3 weeks start going south (planing on "medeltidsveckan" as the "end" before i walk home)
im not sure what rout, all i know is im going past Fagersta and then if i have anny reason to go anny place particulare i might head in that direction :P
Im not one for excessive planing, all i usualy plan is where i start out from, my "bedding" food and economiks. the paths i walk unfolds as i wander.
But like i said, if i have a reason for some spot i usualy work my way towards it
