    asym hammock dimensions/shape?

Hey guys, I just came into some fabric to make a new hammock. I want to make an end channel hammock, I'm thinking about an asym design. So my 2 questions are: How long do I make it?(I'm really tall and like long hammocks) and second question is, what dimensions do I make the asym shape? also, what are the advantages to the asym shape? Thanks for the help!
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.

An asym hammock is simply fabric cut With the ends on a slight angle.
Think of it this way; one diagonal measurement will be longer than the other diagonal.
My advice is 1. Don't get too radical - a 5* angle should be plenty and
    2. Make it long enough such that you can cut those ends off to square it up if you don't like it.

That last link is to a asym TARP but that brings up a good point. You want to consider whether or not your asym hammock also needs an asym tarp for good coverage. It's not automatically required but it's a good question to ask yourself.
