Are you a hot, cold, or average sleeper?

I'm an exceptionally hot sleeper, with the exception of my toes. I tend to be able to use insulation ten to fifteen degrees below its stated rating.

I am a hot sleeper. I do not like others, even of the opposite gender, to touch me while I am trying to sleep, as it generates too much heat and I start to sweat. Sometimes, I use my 40* bag down to under 30*. I never seem to get cold before others are bundling up. Been that way all my 60 plus years.

Ditto. Change 60 to 40. I sleep hot. I get aggravated that my wife sometimes "snuggles" generating sweaty spots.

I have a 20 degree bag and find it comfortable to, well, 20 degrees. My brother says they're only good to 15 degrees above the rating (35 for a 20 degree bag). I will say that as I age, I feel the cold a little more in my extremities, but I still sleep hot.

I am definetely a cold sleeper, always have been. This makes for extra bulk & weight when packing in the winter months for the extra warm clothing and bag.

My 15 Marmot Pinnacle has kept me warm at -25F with just a .5 inch ocf pad under me but then again I also have specific layers of cloths on for added insulation. However when some folks use a summer weight UQ at 60 or 70 F I don't even pack a sleeping bag until below 50. Above 50 I just use a couple fleece blankets. I am definitely a hot sleeper.

I tend to be a cold sleeper, especially my feet, but I can "put up" with temperatures down to the ratings of my bag. Depending on the sleeping bag..

I am a "hot" sleeper, but I have noticed that when I spend more time sleeping outside during the week (backyard) I "harden" to the cold, this makes me even more of a hot sleeper.

I use a full length winter under quilt all but about two weeks of the year. I guess I'm a cold sleeper.

I'm cold when I first tuck in, but it doesn't take long before I'm flinging off most of the covers. I am also very restless, toss and turn, and generally suffer from insomnia a lot. <sigh...>

Cold without a doubt. On my first full night of sleeping in a hammock in the house, single layer poly homemade one, I was feeling cool. Ended up trying to ignore it for a while. Serious CBS happening. I have a digital clock thermometer thing on my wall. The temp? 73.5F. Above 70 and I get cold butt. I guess that makes me cold. Even in summer I usually need a poncho liner, or simple fitted bedsheet used as a top cover.
