Cut the old straps, or order new?

So I'm planning on going to a whoopie sling suspension on my WBBB and was wondering if you guys think I should order new straps or just cut down my current 12' strap that came with the adjustable system. Other then keeping the 12' straps if I decide to sell later, what are the advantages to buying new 6' straps? Are there really any?

    I cut my long strap.
I ordered 2 14 footers from Strap Works with a loop sewn on each end
    ( I don't currently have a thread injector) when I didn't know better.

Made for a nice 2nd set of straps.

I am a tinkerer and tend to change things up when I get bored so I switch between different suspensions. I kept mine and bought shorter ones for whoopie sling use. If you haven't used whoopies a lot you might be better off keeping the webbing as is because you may find later on after trying the whoopies slings in different situations and different weather conditions you may want to switch back. Just a thought.

Two isles, was it cheaper to go with the 14 footer with two loops rather then two 7 foots separately?

What site has the best strap prices and shipping? I would like to keep my long straps, but I've sunk a lot of money into this hobby so far and my wallet is feeling a little on the light side. Thanks for the inputs.
