    Where do you get nekkid?

Yes, this is a real question

I showed my wife my set up the other day, explained how it all worked, and even got her to lie in it. She thought it was quite comfortable. She then asked, with only a tarp, where will you change clothes? .......Good question.......

I've got a WB Mamajamba with no doors. Which leads to no real privacy.

So, where do you guys change clothes when you have a tarp without doors? Do you just go all naturish and let things loose? Or do you change in your hammock?

    Everywhere I can!

JK. That's why I have a bigger tarp. I don't find the doors necessary for privacy, but it's nice to be able to pull down the sides pretty far in group situations.

If I'm going solo, I don't worry about it too much.
If your lucky enough to be outdoors, your lucky enough!

I change clothes standing up outside my hammock. If someone wants to see the unit, they can drop by for a closer look. Most of the time, I am the only one within sight. If there happened to be others around, I might be a bit more reserved.

I hike in a kilt, so if I need to put shorts on (swimming, laundry, etc) I put the shorts on under my kilt, then take the kilt off. To take the shorts off, I reverse the process.
But I too have a HUGE tarp, so if I really want privacy, I can close off both ends.
All in all it has never really been an issue for me.
When you have a backpack on, no matter where you are, you’re home.
PAIN is INEVITABLE. MISERY is OPTIONAL.

now if i was out for more then 4-5 days yes i would bring a change of cloths and just change at night when it is dark ... or i changed once behind a shelter i have no shame so don't really matter to me
It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold

I don't change clothes either.. skivvies if I'm out for several days, and I'm usually solo. If I do need privacy, I just change in the hammock.

I just wrap a towel or tarp and hold it without teeth around myself. Makes a great little personal changing room. And the tarp only needs be a little 4x6 at the most.

There are a couple of situations to consider:

If you camp in a crowded campground, which does not have bathhouses, it could be a privacy problem.

If you hike and camp in wilderness areas, it is not likely to be a problem. I don't get cell signal in most places I hike. I only see a few people a day, and usually none at camp. I could hike nekkid, and would not attract much attention. I am not usually in the altogether for more than a few seconds or so while changing clothes.

She should have asked you how you go to the bathroom.
