    I have

I have, with a big Agnes encampment sleeping bag. I purchased the ba for the reason it has the underside pouch for a pad so it would keep it under me in a hammock. Then in warm weather I have slept with just the ba bag and have been fine. I did this for a year till I got for christmas a jrb old rag mountain! Going to try the uq tonight! Any questions let me know!

Great pad - but too narrow in my opinion for the hammock

I've used it and love it.

It's better underinflated. You'll have a little higher center of gravity so may feel a little "tippy" but nothing near like a set up with a spreader bar.

I've stayed plenty warm with it and like being a little higher up in the hammock to see out better.

I used mine in a JRB bridge down to 6 below and did OK. I have a Henessey with a sleeve and plan to test it out. Mine is 25" wide, and I wouldn't want to try it with a narrower one.

    Pad usage

But now that I have used a pad, I bet I could get to extreme temps with a uq and a pad in my ba bag!
