Go to Wal-Mart, they have some really good, cheap, stuff sacks. I do not know the name brand, but they come in a 3 pack. I have never tried them, but others here have and say that they are good. If not, try to sew some.

Another confident vote for the WalMart dry sacks. I have bought a couple 3 packs already. They work really well.

I'd call them stuff sacks, but since they're air tight you can roll the top and compress with your hands and then seal them. I roll with my fingers and push down with my knuckles. They don't have compression straps, but I've had good luck squashing down items. I don't really believe in compressing things too much though, as it just damages them, and I can generally fit things in my pack without doing so.
thanks guys, i'll check those options out!
