Blimey -28°C (in our flavour...) that's mega hard core Shug!! I did a fishing trip last week to -6°C and that was cold enough for me.
Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever been out in -28°C.... not even at 2000m in the Alps.
    Respect!!
    Cheers

I'm working in Canada now, and I too have discovered a new found love for those Cofee Crisps. Great for cold eats before bed, no teeth chiping is a good thing!

I'm looking foreword to every one else's reperts. The best thing about getting out there is being out there. Lots of stories to tell and ideas to be shared. Good stuff. Thanks!
    Yes...the Coffee Crisp is glory!

So what your view on the Cuben tarp and its abilities in cold temperature’s? I do not own a tarp yet and am thinking of the Cuben tarp as a good all around tarp.

Are your seams taped? And if so how did they hold up?
The tarp did not get brittle at all. Stayed supple. Time will tell and I need a load of snow on it big time.

Does the Shug ever put out a bad video? I think not! Thank you!
Right good on the gearing up. Minnesota winters are a good challenge.
    Thanks on the videos.....I try.

I will say that to be in the hammock all wrapped in down and WARM is such a good feeling. Getting out and up in the morning is not))))))) Fun though and the company was stellar.

Another good one! Thanks! Interesting you picked up 2 deg just by pitching a box over you (closed ends on the tarp. I wonder how much the temp increased with the parachute roof. Micro climates are an art of their own.

They did good.....I has three pair of socks on. The fire helped a lot. but if toes start to chill a short walk seems to cure that.
