    line loc 3 on tarp

I am thinking to use line loc 3 on my tarp tie outs. I've read that the grosgrain for the tie outs should be at least 3/4 " wide, but the line locs 3 can only use 1/2" wide. What should I do...forget about line locs 3?

They will still work. I have used up to 1" with lineloc's on a pack. Also all my tarps have 1/2" nylon or grosgrain webbing for the linelocs. When you use the linelocs you do not have to worry about wearing out the webbing from line running thru it.
