Yeah, definitely need to hook up someday. If you ever find yourself in the U.P. (or the L.P. for that matter) let me know.

Awesome video Fronkey. Thanks for showing all the good times. Someday when I get back home Stateside, I would love to join you guys at one of these! Found one part strange though. Wonder why that one guy sleeps with his middle finger up like that? Very unusual. or was he just checking wind direction? Thanks again Brother!

thanks for posting. I was really impressed by the common area with the parachute, the reflecting walls, and a fire pit large enough to roast a moose! Cudos to the organizers (and the videographer )

been there, done that. The most amazing part is warming back up again after the mission is accomplished. Tip on finding hammock rig again in the dark....I'll always have a little bit of Triptease or something equivalent on my webbing or just tied around one of my support trees. Lights right up when the headlamp hits it in the dark.

I spent a couple summers in Otsu and miss it a lot. Such great people the Japanese are. We would love to have you here in Mn too.

The finger was a warning to back off while sleeping. I will probably make that mistake again though.
    Thanks for watching dude.

Fourdog and Paul do such an awesome job with everything involved in the frozen butt hang. I couldn't believe how warm it was underneath that chute too.

It was nice to jump back in the hammock and warm up after a scary pee break in the morning.

I do need to get some triptease for my hammock. Because one time on the SHT I was using my black tarp and I literally couldn't find my hammock for 15 minutes. That is the one thing I do not want to loose while out on the trail.
Thanks for watching man. I appreciate it.

Another great Fronkey video! Nice report! Tip for finding the rig in the dark - I have there little red button lights attached to all my tie-outs and the zippers so I easily find them at night. At the NEHHA last year, they started calling my rig The Love Shack, because of all the red lights! LOL!

Still unsure about a Hammock Sock, though ......

Thanks again for a great trip report!

    Thanks so much dude.

I actually have recently put some trip tease on my gear. When I was at the Northern hang I was using my black tarp and I could not find my hammock for 30 minutes. lol
