Couldn't have said it better - Great Start for 2012

Bear chaser, wonderful video & pics!

But, dang, those industrial spies are everywhere. Actually - no secrets; it's the same rig ldcakes helped me video last month, not pretty, but very effective. It handled Thursday's winds, Friday's rain, and misty Saturday okay. I probably didn't even need the cuben tarp draped over it to block the wind - that site was a winner. Slept in it last night here at home, and all the innards were still dry.

For those that weren't there, the big duffle pack was made to fit on my pulk, and I added PALS straps so the MollyMacPack clips to it. Easy to carry when needed: a "Molly Mac Pulk".

Gotta say it again, Bear Chaser. I loved those shots of the Wilson Creek hike. Thanks.

    Loving the pics & videos!
BTW, the blue tarp was 20' X 30'.

Also, when I got home there was a smaller blue tarp in with the big tarp. Anyone want to claim it? To big to mail but I could try to get it to you sometime.
I too will something make and joy in it's making

A big thanks to all who attended & to those who helped with making reservations, bringing firewood & raffle stuff!!!!!
I so wish I could have joined in the festivities, but that was not to be.

For those who couldn't attend for various reasons, & really want to attend next year, you have until January (17), 18, 19 & 20 2013 to prepare.
Bear in mind, this year the weather was unusual for this time of year at our chosen location. Compared to years past, it was incredibly warm. Do not count on that next year!
As to the fun had this year, yep, count on that next year!! I've only missed 2 of the 6 years, had a GREAT time every year Ive attended!

Keep the reports & pictures coming gang. I'm a loving it!

Had a great time even in the rain. Good to meet so many new folks and to see all of you from last year. Enjoyed the hike up the mountain with Jimbo & Shane. Dry boots do feel mighty good! 2Q, that chili hit the spot. Got to try livermush for the first time at the Log Cabin Resturant. Not bad Hickery. Thanks Slowhike, Doctari, and all the mods for making it happen! Looking forward to next year.

Had a great time, too. Hopefully a video will follow soon, had some problems with the conversions...

I have a question for anyone who attended: I just found out I left my alcohol stove, windscreen, and pot stand in the pavillion. Last time I used it was Saturday morning, and I just figured out it was missing. If anyone picked it up, could you please let me know? The stove is kind of special--it's the first one I ever made, and still my favorite. Thanks for the help.
