Guys, this is the feedback forum....
As for the sub-forum, bike-packing really not specific to hammocks. If there is enough interest shown through new threads, we might add a new sub in the DM Off-Topic forum, but not likely in the main index.

Wow, thanks for the great responses. Yep, I agree the other sites mentioned are great, but I love this forum. We have Salsa Fargos, too! Just being able to talk about trails you camp with a hammock and trip reports would be fantastic. Thanks everyone for the pics and replies.
So, how do we convince the mods there is enough interest to give us a sub forum anywhere? Chime in and tell us what we need to do specifically and I will try to make it happen. Thanks for the opportunity and this amazing forum you moderators have built on the web.
you've seen cyclists going cross country with those huge panniers back and front--the hammock kit like Jerry pointed out can all (TQ/UQ/hammock/tarp) fit nicely under your handlebars. I've had 4 days of food/stove in the seat post bag. Hammocking makes (for me) bikecamping very lean/lightweight...hammocks and bikes were make to go together!
Ya'll need to put engines in those bike frames.
I'm assuming you know about this,

Here's a couple of UK versions of the same with the odd hammock thread thrown in, mostly ground dwellers though,
