    Whoopie Color Choice

Just some advice for prospective whoopie buyers. In the past I thought black whoopies looked the coolest, but I soon learned they leave your hands black after handling them. So, I've been buying the silver color, which do not leave color on your hands. Other colors may be more friendly as well, but the black is by far the worst about staining your fingers.

You are correct, black tends to rub off much more than any other color. I never see any rub off when splicing silver. Blue, green, yellow, orange and red all have a bit of rub off but it is minimal.

I had ordered the 1/8 in black and never had the problem.
I had issues with red with ZingIt! as well as amsteel.
