    Spliced Flyz at Dutchware

Get your Spliced Flyz here!!!! Sounds yummy, I know. I am now offering Flyz that are spliced on 12 foot of zingit. There is a locked brummel on the tarp end and it is back spliced on the other end. Simply larks head the locked brummel on the ridgeline of your tarp and you are ready to go. There is no way your flyz will fall off since teh other end is back spliced. Just another option.

this is exactly how i did mine when i received my 1st edition tarp flyz (pretty proud to have originals) no knots, can't fall off and the larks head is super easy on and off if you have multiple tarps and want to use just one set of rigging

    dutch,

after my girlfriend watched me put up and take down my tarp for the summer and saw how easy the flyz were, she ordered a set for her self and tossed her figure 9's and likes the flyz much better, keep up the good work

That is exactly what I like about it. It is easy to move to another tarp. Although it is best to have a set for each tarp.

Received a set on Tuesday. I got the early version before they went viral. Thanks Dutch. Already on my tarps (Warbonnet Camo Superfly and OES Custom SpinnUL) and tested. Working great. Tried a couple of different setups with the Tarp Flyz. Make sure the tarp line is equal to or above the tree straps and run down each side of the tree straps or they bind on the tarp line. See pics below.

The tree straps are custom 1-inch polyester from StrapWorks. Simple double D-ring belt they offer, but with a loop on the tail end with a half twist to keep the loop open.

Will the Dutch Tarp Flyz work with 2.2mm Lash-it? I don't use a CRL just 12' of line per side.

I had a figure 9 failure from snow load and need something a lot stronger.

here's a quote from dutch in another post about this

"You can use dynaglide and and 2.2 zing it, but they are a little tight. It is important it is hollow braid line." - Dutch

as far as using separate line for each side, that is exactly how i do it, just need a fly on each line, wrap around the the tree and secure, super simple......i guarantee you will like it better than the figure 9's.....of course my guarantee doesn't come with a $ back guarantee

Thinking here....long silence...strength is a good thing but I want my hardware and/or zing-it/lash-it to fail before my tarp gets ripped or shredded. Now when cuben is cheaper than, well you get the idea.

Since 1.75mm lash it and zing it holds 400 pounds I designed the flyz to work with them. You can get 2.2 in but it is tight and I don't see why you need that extra strength. I would prefer it to be used with waht it is designed for. Especially since I do give a $ back guarantee.
