    Storing tarp line

I've got my tarp setup on a contenuous ridgeline and was wondering how you guys store your line. I've just been wrapping it around my hand keeping it in a loose ball and shoving it in my stuff sack. Comes out mostly untangled but occasional I have to fiddle with it. I plan on eventually making some mosquito netting snake skins with a pocket, but still need to figure the best way to wrap up the line.

I pretty much do the same but once wrapped I clip it into my figure 9 'biner and throw a rubberband on it and toss it in the stuff sack with the tarp. Haven't had a problem yet unraveling it.

I like that, I may have to pull out a needle and thread and sew some of these up.

    Thanks Dutch.

One end of my tarp ridgeline I wind around my fingers in a figure 8. I then take a couple of hitches around it with the standing end and forget about it (I do the same thing w/ the tieouts)
I bundle my tarp up (with the bundled ridgeline end tucked inside) and use the other end of the ridgeline to wrap up the tarp bundle into a silnylon log that then I strap to my pack.

RL goes into Snake Skin pockets .. I bury my Dutch Flyz into the winding .. it's snags everything .. a half hitch keeps it all in place .. my guy lines into pockets sewn into the tarp ..

I just do the figure-8 wrap around my fingers and then a few wraps around the bundle, then a half hitch to finish it off. Works for me and simple enough.

I do the exact same. I'd love to try some of the options mentioned but don't have to gumption to mod my tarps.

Snakeskins get pulled over tarp. Fold this in half several times then wrap snuggly with ridgeline to form a tube type shape that gets strapped to the outside of my pack for easy access.
