I have an 8x10 tarp with 12 tie out points . What would you recommend for lengths in a pre- made/cut adjustable tie down set for the most versatile setup ?

I use a figure 9 tent guyline kit. I only have 4 tieouts on my BMJ. It comes with four figure 9's and four 8 foot lengths of reflective 2.5 mm guyline. It can be adjusted with one hand. I'm a big figure 9 user.
I also have shock cord loops on each of my tie outs that help keep it tensioned when the tarp stretches.
With that said, I'm sure you'll get a ton of different recommendations on guy line type, knot/hitch styles, and length. I'm just telling you what works for me.

comes down to preference and functionality. I have 2 extra long tie outs for porch mode but all my normal tie-outs are around 5'. I did this more-so for the tangle factor sicne I leave mine attactched and don't bother rolling each one up.
Where's everyone get this small rope from at long lengths.
Believe me just put some 5-6' ft lines on and go. If you haven't decided on what type to use, masonry line is low $ and works just great. You'll be discovering new ways to customize your tarp lines for a long time to come. And the thing is, it's cheap and can be a lot of fun. If you ever get to a group hang, you'll see some ideas and probably want to redo your whole setup. (sorry nature of the beast)

my guylines are 10ft and my ridge lines are 33ft. i think it's the average..
We make our guy lines to a 8' finished length. Our continuous ridge line is 30' or 10' if just attaching to each end.
My guy lines are the same as most peoples ~8'. I also carry 2 x 10' lengths of extra wrapped around my stakes, gives me some flex and doesn't really take up any space.
