Maybe wrong but I think you can still get Pea Pod or Polar Pod....so that 2 two on the market and now the Grand Trunk makes 3.....
Maybe I need to write Exped and let them know they need a Wallcreeper with a velcroable hole about shoulder level for hammock suspension egress.
Is any one using that PolarPod? I see that it is rated 10F warmer than the PeaPod, not counting overstuff option. It is expensive and weighs 48 oz, which seems heavy at first but not compared to 2 full length winter quilts(TQ_UQ). But the main advantage(over the PeaPod) for severe winter use is the extra room allowing layering of other insulation with ease. Also way more usable with wider or longer hammocks. The extra length will allow cinching tightly closer to, or even over, the ends of the hammock.
I would have loved the opportunity to test this out at the MN frozen butt hang!
Oh but there is one more that may be pressed into hammock duty and this one is the primo of primo, same problem as the WallCreeper/DreamWalker in that it needs an exit for the head suspension but just imagine:
Cakes if you want to borrow a Wallcreeper/Dreamwalker let me know, i've got one on loan might be a bit before i get it back though.
NCPatrick--OK so i was confused. I thought under hammock camping that another category was to be added to join the likes of 'top insulation' 'bottom insulation' caledl 'pods'....
I was thinking it might help the noobs who are scrolling down and discovering for the first time that there is another option over TQs and UQs.....as I type that I'm trying to remember when I first heard of pods-that was a long time ago.
Thought some more....thinking it would be logical for it to include hammock socks too--anything that goes completely around the hammock. Thought?
FF Wren style bags work too.

The Dreamwalker works great as is. If you use the back elastic from the hood and attach to headend of hammock.
Cinch face of hood shut and then rotate bag.
Open one of the arm holes, place over mouth and nose your good to go.
With two LG 650tys I sleepet at -25F. One I would say your good to 30F.
Have sleepet to 19F with one, clothing and windshield garde.
The problem of doing the hood thing as people requested it would only allow one sleep postion and no movement that is unpractacly.
Wiggys bags with center zip, draw string bottom work great as pod system.
The Polarpod needs/ more down. Side chambers, not sew through on right & left side and a baffel chamber under velcro to be a true deep cold sleep system.
