Does anyone know of a way to make a polyester bag feel better /less scratchy without damaging it? I have used baby powder it helps a little but not much.

I hate polyester personally. Maybe you could get some ripstop or cheap silk material from local store and just sew it over top? Won't add to much weight and will probably feel better
I've never personally had problems with polyester lined bags, but what about simply wearing a comfortable lightweight baselayer to separate your skin from the poly? You can also get a silk sleeping bag liner. It will add to the "fiddle factor", but man, do they feel nice next to skin.

I second USMCStang's silk bag liner comment. It's pretty awesome.
Problem solved , got a Mont-bell bag.
