    OK, one more question, then I promise to stop hogging this thread
    Let's say you go out and there is a horrific wind. Can you set it up without the poles and still get a tight, wind-worthy pitch? This is something you may want to practice with in the backyard.

    I didn't try it, but I beleive that Paul stated somewhere that it is built to work w/wo the poles.

    Yep I keep staring at one too. If I was held up long term in a spot I'd wish for one of these. The color is really really nice too.
    Are the poles carbon? did I miss what they're made of?

    I guess the 1/8 oz over is due to the zing-it continuous loop prussiks on my guy lines.

    Thanks. I thought the brown might work. I will get a few 1 nighters this spring, but the 1st real outing will be on the Selway River in N. Idaho, in July.
