Good ideas on diff. pod methods. How long are the sleeping bags mentioned? And can you get asymmetrical at all in them?
On the adjustable foot and shoulder pockets, my Burrow usually finds it way out of my hammock. If not with my feet in it, then when I get out of my hammock. I've had the shock cord adjustments added to my new camo 1.1 custom. It should be finished soon.

Cakes, I should have pointed out that the WM Ponderosa is being used with a Crazy Creek Hammock--very very similar to a Speer 8.5. This genre of hammocks was/is not known for asym lays like we modern hammock hangers know them. Yet I've slept many nights in the Speer 8.5 or the Crazy Creek and Ed Speer did two AT thru-hikes in one so they are not so bad. These are more 'trough' style hammocks. The advantage they have for deep winter camping is that they are less volume side to side-therefore less volume to heat....but they are as said 'trough' hammocks and as peapod users know who use the peapod on trough hammocks you still (most of the time) need a top quilt to fill in the gap between body and hammock edges because that space needs to be filled as well.
For your body size you can actually get asym just not as much as in a Traveler type hammock. Even my size can get asym but it really is minimal for me....all that said, I can get a flat lay in one and even get fetal.
Something else, this genre often had webbing through a sewn channel and this same webbing goes to the trees-so a dedicated tree hugger was often not needed and setup time is fairly quick, buckles made quick adjustment but is obviously heavier...............robust hammocks though.
Here's the data on the WM Ponderosa:
    5 1/4" Spacing/Continuous Baffles
    67"/ 48" Shoulder/Foot Girth
    Zips to Summer Coupler
    7" Loft, 15° F
    27 oz. Down Fill
2 lbs. 9 oz. Total Weight

    MM,
I like everything about the WM Ponderosa demo except when Poof got out the WM Ponderosa was laying on the ground. Are you guys working on a fix for that?

    OutandBack-YES, fixed just after filming.
The zipper zide of the Ponderosa she kept on top, behind her is a drawstring. We attached bungie corder to the drawstring and then to a biner on the suspension. The Ponderosa now stays cinched tight to the head end of the hammock with no gaps--bungie allows 'play' during movement/ingress/egress and keeps the Ponderosa attached at all times.
    Good eye

    Thanks MedicineMan.

Really like the area that you live in. Mighty beuatifull. Where is that in the USA. Think I will immigrate in my next life.
Will bring you up to date with the situationation in DK in my next video. Will do a sleep over in the Snipe.
Yeah, a pod is a superior winter sleep system for a hammock. And it combines well with UQ, TQ and sleeping bags.
