The reason I asked was I prefer a solo canoe to a kayak because I do not like double paddles. I have seen a lot of folks unload their old canoe over the years because it got too heavy to load or haul around. FRP boats can be significantly lighter than molded plastic. Goes for your yak too. Having said that I am not aware of anyone doing a sit on in frp.That's not me...I'm the fat man in the yak.
I'm talking to girlfriend about it now as I don't have a place to store it. She (sort of) does, and is a couple hours closer to your neck of the woods than I am.Sixteen feet.

River trips are hands down my favorite. Good opportunity for someone looking to get into it.
Wish I had the money. It's probably best that I don't, cause my wife would use it as a casket. That's a great price. You shouldn't have a problem getting rid of it.
