I'm working through the weekend writing technical documentation but noticed this thread during a "Mental Break" (otherwise known as those quite minutes before one goes mental and shot-puts a monitor). Been a while since I did logo work but here's a 15 min concept...

I started to work in a hammock but I think "nonspecific" means more versatility incase you want to "branch out" in the future?

The response on this has been tremendous. I want to sincerely thank everyone who has sent in an entry. I will keep taking entries until this coming Friday, February 10th. I haven't decided whether I will do a poll (giving out some prizes to some of the voters!) or if I will choose myself. Either way, it promises to be a good time.

Beautiful! The stone classes it up a bit too!

As if I had any say in the matter but from what I’ve seen…

It looks great! But only for printed matter...

When you design a logo, it should be suitable for:

    - printed matter
    - full color & B/W
    - embroidery
    - recognizable without text
    - minimum 300DPI
    - how does it look very small (label and/or icon)

I don't wanna spoil the fun, but designing is a profession and there is a philosophy behind it.

Thanks for the vote of confidence my Friend!

Now I’m not a professional but... I think this design would look good on a ball cap?

When one is presenting conceptual work, they always what to illustrate the full potential of a design on the “First Impression”. “Web Presents” is generally top of the scale, everything after is just teardown.

This is exactly how an excellent logo looks! Well done!

From a distance recognizable, plain and simple :-)

See, the clue is that you can setup different departments by simply changing the color.

Thanks, to be honest, I'm not a professional...anymore! As a professional photographer and independent graphic designer, I have 15 years experience. 6 years ago I got tired of the "Starving Artist" lifestyle and went to work for a major Smartphone Corporation here in Canada. Now I don’t get as much out of my “day-to-day” career but I do get paid for ALL the hours I work. Grass is always green eh!

Did you ever pick a logo?
