    New splicer!!

I just joined the ranks of obsessed splicers here. I had alot of trouble to begin with the past few weeks because I was using very tight weave 2.2 dyneema. Got some yellow Zing-it and it makes all the difference in the world. I've already spit out two adjustable SRL's, some backsplice lines, and some continuous loops.
    Sorry Stu.

You may like Zing It, but you'll love Amsteel Blue.

    Welcome to the obsession.

    Repeat after me...
"Hi. My name is Taylo and I am a splicing addict."

Unfortunately, there is no cure but if caught early enough it can be controlled.

I have now resorted to sneaking the necessary 'tools and material' into work and getting some splicing done in the office. My boss was quite impressed with the functionality of the whoopie sling. I gave him one to keep in his truck for whatever.

I am a proud splice addict. I have not got any amsteel or zing-it yet but every piece of braided rope I own has locked brummels, finished ends, or has been turned into a whoopi sling. I am saving up now to get a big tarp then I can make a bunch of tie outs for it.

Would that still be considered outdoor camping? Not sure it would fit in my pack!

You just pack it on the elephant you use to set it up.
