Sticky posts are a great way to keep useful information available, but it seems some of the forums are getting a bit too sticky. The DIY forum has 13 sticky threads at the top of the 33 threads displayed on page 1. That's more than 1/3 of the available bandwidth for the front page. Is there a better way to organize this?
Thoughts:
A Hall of Fame subforum for threads that are elected to keep forever.
A single Sticky of Stickies post that links to everyone's favorites.
Does sticky / non-sticky status relate to how threads are archived?
There's a lot of awesome stuff in the stickies and it needs to be easy to find for newcomers, I'm just wondering if there are other ways to handle this.
Thanks Mods! You do an excellent job with the forum.
