    Neat Sheet

I've heard of them being used to make weather shields for the hammock bottom, and I guess they could be used for an in-hammock vapor barrier.

I think neat sheets are made from something similar to medical scrubs - light and liquid proof.

As for where you "but" it, I guess that depends on how much you want to hurt it.

It's sorta like Frogg Toggs material, only much, much softer.

Whoever told you scrubs are "liquid proof" obviously has never worn them. Tell 'em to come do a shift with me some time and we'll see how "liquid proof" they are some time. Seriously, the Neat Sheet is used for vapor barriers and weather shields among other things. I've seen folks put them over their CCF pads, etc.

I guess I'm missing something. Why are they good when applied to backpacking/camping?

...originally sold as table cloths for picnic tables.

I bought one but didn't find it provided any benefits (for me) beyond my light fleece throw and a ¼" CCF pad when hammocking. And now I don't use the throw...
