    Shockcord SRL anyone?

In my constant endeavors, I have decided to try giving up the SRL on my Liteowl for a bit, but still need something to hold my bugnet up. I have replaced my Zing-it ridgeline with shockcord. It doesn't affect the sag, and seems to hold the bugnet up ok. I have it tied at one end with a taughtline hitch to tighten it up if I need to.

Anybody have any long term experience with this.

My main motivation is I'm constantly fiddling with my ridgeline and sag, so I want to just take it off, and take whatever sag I get. But I need something to hold the bugnet up.

Well, it won't be structural, but it should work. I haven't weighed any shock cord, but it most certainly will be heavier than, say, Zing-It.

Yep, I don't want strucural for a while. I want something that doesn't affect structure at all, just holds up the bugnet. I've found the LiteOwl is comfortable no matter what the sag is.

    The 'process' continues
