Bat Hammock?
Has anyone tried one of these from Tom Claytor?

It looks interesting - kind of like a bridge hammock, but suspended from above. Obviously it's made for climbing, but I wonder how it could be made to work for general purposes. Could be a solution to hanging from an I-beam.

that looks like it would totally induce claustrophobia.

Getting in and out of the thing looks like it would be a real pain.

But how do you get in and out of a bridge? Don't you enter from one end, sit down, and then slide backwards? Kind of like a hennessy, too.
It does seem a little tight, especially for the larger fellas! Want to feel like a taco? With the support system all being vertical above the hammock, instead of horizontal from the ends, it would seem a little closed in.
Seriously, though. If anyone has tried something like this, it would be interesting to find out how it works. I wonder if it could be modified easily to work similar to a bridge, but still retain some of the vertical support system? I know, I know.... then why not just get a bridge? To try something new!
That's what happens when you get the hammock disease, you just need to try different ideas, even if they seem strange, unconventional or just plain stupid. Who would have thought of a convertible bridge to Claytor except Grizz? And who can argue against it being one of the coolest mods in recent memory? I'm just saying............Why Not?

It's sure an interesting design, but I'd feel like a tetherball or bear pinata in it.
