Keep close to Nature's heart... and break clear away, once in awhile, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.

As to the suspension, that is exactly the suspension I use now. Very quick and easy, and when stowing things away I clip the tree huggers to the carabiners so everything is one unit and no chance of leaving a tree strap behind by mistake. No modification to the hammock is needed, as you simply use the hammock suspension to make the garda hitch. Added advantage is that if you find yourself hanging from a tree that is too big for your tree strap to go all the way around, you can leave off the 'biner and rings, and just tie the traditional Hennessy 'knot'.
Sometimes I hang them on the ridge line by the shoe laces and let them dangle out the bottom opening. Sometimes I hang them on the separate tarp ridge line, under the tarp. I usually bring a plastic wal mart bag to keep them dry.
Thanks for all the suggestions, everyone! I'll be contacting HH to make a purchase soon!
Just thought I'd let everyone know that I ended up purchasing a used HH Deep Jungle from a member here. Cant wait to use it! Thanks again for all your suggestions!
Hope its ok to jump in here with a related question. Could any one compare using one ring and carabiner for a trucker's hitch as in Grizz's video to the set up using two rings as mentioned in the video above?
bottom enty is the way to go. it has a slight learning curve but its makes life simple with its fast and easy with one step closure cuz your body weight does all the work
one set back is if you plan on getting and under quit for insulation it is a pain to adjust.
i do recomend the ss sold by hennessey as it keeps a 3 season set up very light and fast. i would order from the hennessey site just for the free snake skins and there customer service is great
