Last time I was I camping at Merchants, the wife and I rented a canoe and had the whole pond to ourselves. I didn't tell her I was letting her do most of the paddling up front.

Okay, confirmed that my better half and I, and probably the oldest little, will be there.

    WW8Ball,
Any plans to canoe the creek or get in a little fishing? The last time I was there in warm weather, all the 3' gar were holding just below the surface of the water.

    Silverpalm2x,
I try to hike the Uwharrie Trail once a year. This time of year is better than spring or summer for me. The 20 mile trail never gets old.

I really want to check out the trails down there sometime....either with my mountain bike and/ or with my hammock and camping stuff.

    Still happening?

Is this event still scheduled for the weekend of April 15?

WW8Ball, I've added my name to your spreadsheet. I recall that you want an advance deposit sent to your paypal account, but I cannot locate the address. Can you please re-post?

Thanks. I look forward to meeting everyboday.
