Ok guys, less than 24 hours remain before we pack the vehicles and head out.
I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to all our vendors who donated gear to make the raffle awesome again, and make it possible to give a little back to the park thats hosting us.
Since we have a dinner triangle now, it will be used to call everyone to the main gathering area for stuff, so listen out so you dont miss out.
Schedule (so far) is easy.
Friday: show up, pick a camp, and hang. There are 2 spots "reserved" (mine and another member who can stand to be nearer the main camp). That night, around the main area I want to address the group and present a small gift to a member (which will provide some entertainment to us as well)
Saturday: Free day. TATO will be there and if he wants to demo any of his gear, then he'll ring the bell. For those interested, lunch at Maurices BBQ. Around 5-6 we will be hitting the bell for the raffle, so you can have some time to play with your new gear before dinner prep kicks off.
Sunday: For those who have to work Monday, its pack up day. Ill be staying till Monday morning till 11 if anyone wants to hang with me. To those who cant stay Sunday night, there is no rush to leave and people can hike and paddle all day

Thanks Rev, and I'll see you tomorrow.

Jax boys are feverishly working trying to wrap things up at work. Hopefully we'll all hit the road in the morning!

I went to an event that had many items for raffle. The way they did it was to have a paper lunch bag with a slit in the front for each item. You put one half of your ticket stub into whichever item's bag you were interested in winning. You could buy as many tickets as you wanted and put as many tickets in which ever bags you wanted. This was a neat idea because although your overall chance of winning was the same as doing an open raffle, you increased your chances of winning the items you were really interested in. You also didn't win an item that you weren't interested in because you wouldn't have any tickets in that particular bag. At the drawing, each bag was opened and a ticket was drawn for the winner of that item. It was a really neat, easy way to do it.
