    kickass under quilt

    man what a job. patrick is one bad man .yes it is 3.30 in the morning and i am just finishing the underquilt. now I know how it got its name hehehehe going to post some pic right quick then off to bed got to be up and hiking by nine .nothing like field testing something for the first time in 25 degree weather wish me luck .unless you just have the diy bug like me an engineer pay patrick to do it its well worth the money .ps looking for that shirt big man

    Cool project. The middle of the night is the best time to work on things. There are no other distactions. You one uped me though. I usually wait until the next day to set it up and take pics.

    What is the weight/cost of your quilt?

    I am thinking about making an underquilt for my dad's setup. I am thinking about moding a cheap sleeping bag. Weight is not a big concern for he can only car or canoe camp. I don't want to put a lot of money into it because I think it would only see 10 nights if use a year tops.

    Great Job!! I can't wait to hear how it worked in 25 degree temps.

    I'm right in the middle of working on my own KAQ...but my 3 month old baby's crib is right next to my sewing table

    ....That basically has put the kabosh on finishing the quilt anytime soon...

    And since I mentioned the litle one...I can't resist and post a cute clip. Hey that's what new dady's do.
