Guys, this is an interesting idea, but I'm not sure why you want a subforum for it.
We really only make subforums when the content doesn't already fit logically into one of the existing categories and when there's enough threads about it to justify it to organize the discussions. As eflat7 pointed out in the OP, there is only a tiny handful of threads now about books....
If you want to discuss outdoor books, start a thread in the Other Gear forum of the DM, and we'll see where it goes.

Thanks. My only reason for suggesting it is because I love when members recommend books. I rarely see the threads until weeks or months later when I stumble on them. It would be nice to to have a place where I wouldn't miss them. I almost always head to amazon and buy them.Originally Posted by angrysparrow

How about a new thread, and I'll sticky it for you. If it grows enough, maybe a subforum will be needed.
