so with this permatex you do not need to mix it with mineral spirits since it is flowable already?

Yes. Use straight from the tube. Its good stuff, works out dearer than silnet, but a whole lot less complicated.

140.00 bucks seems like a lot of money for an unfinished tarp.

Maybe they should call it the 'Old Man Winter Tarp Kit'.

As far as I understand MOST tarps are not seam sealed... And I don't think i have ever seen a tent that was seam sealed from the factory (learned that lesson the hard way.) And in fact the only tarp that i know of that is seam sealed (there may be many more but not that i've seen..) are the OES tarps.

Reading the directions on the back of the tube of Sil Net I just bought to seal my Wilderness Logic Big Daddy tarp that should be in the mail today! Woot! You need to set up the tarp to seam seal and leave it set up for at least 3-6 hours (12-24 hours to fully cure) it seems understandable that the manufacture does not do this due to the space needed to leave multiple tarps hanging.

Also I had read on here somewhere (I will try to find the thread) that you don't actually need to seal Wilderness Logic tarps because of the way they are sewn. Can anyone confirm or deny this? I will most likely seal the tarp anyway (I already bought the Sil Net!!) but I am still interested.
Look to this day: For it is life, the very life of life. In its brief course lie all the verities and realities of your existence. The bliss of growth, the glory of action, the splendour of achievement are but experiences of time.

For yesterday is but a dream and tomorrow is only a vision; And today well-lived, makes yesterday a dream of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope. Look well therefore to this day; Such is the salutation to the ever-new dawn!

140 bucks for this tarp is a great buy! When you see the tarp in action and the coverage it gives, in wicked weather, you appreciate spending that kind of money.
