Bottom of page. Get the breathable one. Worth every penny.
I just leave mine attached to the hammock when stuffing.

Overstuffing can be Deceiving at times.... yes you can get alittle more out of a quilt with overstuff but it's not much and once you get over 2oz of overstuff
your paying more for a quilt that will not hit the range of temps your looking for and will weigh just as much as the 3 season model and cost more
with a 40F quilt it only has 1" baffles no amount of down will change that
down can only loft so much with the air space given
i found overstuff in 3 season a better bang for your buck but summer quilts are made with 1" baffles and some are sewn through so buyer beware
an overstuffed 40F will get some users down into the low 30's again too many factors involved there is an old saying "it is what it is" if it's a 40F quilt it is what it is
It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold

    @ OP,
Now you know why our HF forsale sections is always filled with great hardly used gear.
Every hanger is different and needs different gear to keep them warm and dry.
I have been on HF for just over a year and have owned 8 different hammocks, 6 tarps, 4 UQ's, 2 TQ.
Over a dozen stoves from wood to alky to white gas.
    4 backpacks, 1 pulk

You just won't know until you start buying and trying.
There typically is no one perfect setup that fits everyone for every part of the country.

Last weekend I took a synthetic 50* bag to 29*. I had a LeighLo 20* underquilt, a 1/4 GG pad under my feet, BCG base layer, fleece pj pants, Marmot Driclime wind shirt, underarmor balaclava, wool Sherpa hat, wool socks, REI booties, wristies, glove insets inside of smart wool glove inserts (Did I just say inserts inside of inserts) and I think that is all. Its possible.

I go to the trinity alps every year. July/august you are looking at 40-50 at night. Maybe 35 at higher elevations. That is the time of year I go and I bring my 40 degree set.

The wife is hot natured as hell,,and she used a Arrowhead 30 degree Jarbridge UQ and a 40 degree top quilt (golite 40 reg. down)on Oct 1st last year on a ridge top we were camped on at 5300 ft at the wind was blowing 40mph gusts,,temp was 35 degrees and I checked on her at 3am to see if she was ok and found her with her feet sticking out of the hammock...all she had on was a Tee Shirt and Sweat pants as we were car camping,,and I put her feet back in her hammock and covered them up and she woke and gave me heck for covering them up so she can take that setup down to at least 35 degrees with a wind chill as well,,but,,she is very hot natured and loves her setup for 3 season.

I just went with the 20 degree burrow. Im in Alabama and wont see very many cold nights. However I think you can always get colder, getting hotter takes more stuff. Im a hot sleeper as well.
