I guess I'm one of the few who said no to this Dutch product, and yes to everything else he's put out....here's the deal with me and my suspension.
Currently I larks head a whoopie to the gathered end-->Dutch Biner-->6 inch continuous loop of Amsteel--->tree hugger--->Dutch Clip.
When it's time to go I unhook the Dutch Clip and pack everything up in one bundle--all connected, nothing to forget-likea tree hugger.
I've had to walk back for tree huggers and I've found them twice from other hangers.
Now compared to a Marlin Spike hitch I can see these being preferable.
OK, call me the nay sayer on this one or the absent minded forgetful one.

well worth the money .... i love my Dutch Biners but i think these are going to replace them there so easy to use and no spring gate to worry about so you can use gloves with them
and a pair of them weigh less then one Dutch Biner

That is why I like red tree straps.

I larksheaeded the whoopie to the tree strap, the whoopie hook then connects to an amsteel continuous loop on my hammock. I put a Dutch clip on the tree strap too, so it's now all one piece.

Strap around tree, Dutch clip. Unroll hammock, strap around tree, Dutch clip, Done!

to take down I just unhook the Dutch Clips and roll up hammock. All one piece, no chance of forgetting straps, light weight and simple.

If the tree happens to be bigger than my straps I can unhook the whoopie hook and run it through the loop beside the Dutch Clip and then reconnect. No big deal there,

I was looking at his full setup with the whoopie hooks. Those straps look short compared to all the other setups I have seen. I am a noob so just wondering how well they would work in the woods compared to the 8 footers I have read about. I am trying to put my first rig together
