How do you store your Clark?

After putting away my Clark NA today after hanging it in the living room from a hammock stand I started to wonder what ways others of you have found to store your Clark aside from the incorporated stuff sack? It is a nice feature I think, but is there some other way that you have found to be easier or more efficient?

For long term storage, I use some large square stuff sacks (the $2 Walmart type... not the tube shaped sacks) and fold the hammock and fly separately, both very loosely about 15" X 15" and slide them into their bags. Then, the bags go on the top shelf until I need them.

The poles and suspension go right in the sack with them.

For short term storage / packing, I put large stuff sacks (15L, I think) on them like a "Bishop Bag" and store them in those.

The integrated stuff sack sucks. I don't know why manufacturers insist on putting the stuff sack in the middle of the hammock....

Same here UL stuff sack (8l ). Tarp in extra UL stuff sack. Keeps both dry, but also protects every thing else from getting wet (after rain when I pack the wet tarp away).

Mine is in a home- made stuff sack, in a pack, sitting near the door, waiting on a trip. One never knows when opportunity will knock and I don't want to be late.

Honestly, the main reason I went with a 15L was it allows me to leave my sleeping bag inside the hammock when storing it during a trip... I'm lazy like that.

Of course, I remove it all for proper storage when I get home, but I like the convenience of having it all in one while I'm on the road.

I really dig the idea of keeping the rainfly in a separate bag. That should solve some issues pretty well right there.
